Bash toys.  Nothing new there, in fact bash toys have gone backwards,  less interactive.  Look at the castle on MM, or Drac and Frankie on MB. At least they actually moved.!

Just downloaded TWD SE05-01, about to watch.  ;)

Only just finished watching season 4... I normally wait till they come out on DVD and them watch them during the week. Did this with Breaking Bad and got a couple of months entertainment.

Where are you all downloading them?... im keen

I get it on Foxtel, it's live from the us every Monday at lunchtime then repeated at 8-30pm.
I don't know where to download it from, sorry mate.

Static plastic bash toys that break or crack over and over again are even worse.

Wolverine on X-men is a classic example.

The toys are not even plastic, they are a moulded rubber. I have purchased the wolverine and magneto toys for x men pro as spares to make a nice custom topper. I have never heard or seen one ever break or crack. I could be wrong unless a fly ball somehow broke a grey knife on the wolverine hand but haven't learnt of any. The rubber is extremely thick on the x men toys and I reckon designed to withstand any punishment from the silver balls. Take one apart like I have and u will see what I mean.
The bash toy from The Walking Dead is also moulded rubber and extremely durable. On the Pro u get points for hitting the bash toy, just like X Men so it is interactive. The Sparky bash toy is also very popular. I think bash toys on games are here to stay and offer visual and gameplay benefits . Even the Spaceship on Star Trek is proving fun and exciting.
Never met anyone who owned a X Men Pro or a Metallica Pro who didn't love it. I am only hearing positive things from actual owners of the Walking Dead Pro machine. A lot are enjoying the bash toy.
Give it time, it's such early days.
More importantly, what's Stern got cooking for its next 3 or 4 titles.

Sure looks like plastic to me but whatever.
Whatever it is it is a shite toy and it cracks and breaks often.

Its definately rubber. I was surprised when I squeezed the items and looked inside them.
My bash toys are undamaged and like brand new without a mark on them.

I also received some custom photos of the Pro and LE Walking Dead models with Borgy standing in front of the two pinballs. He was happy to send me a one off photo which I asked for if he had a spare 5 minutes. He is going to send me some photos of him also standing in front of the Walking Dead line with pinballs getting built everywhere.

Thanks for the heads up a Rob. Pinheads all over the Coast will be flocking to these two machines and will probably get a game or ten on all the other Sterns whilst down there. Good news.

I will try to take some good photos and some videos of the Pro model I f someone doesn't beat me to it.
This Friday night, at my regular pistol shooting club get together, I will be placing up some zombie targets for the gloch 17. Thats also a fun hobby. The Walking Dead meets target practice. Lol

PRESS RELEASE

Stern just released some news on its Facebook page/site about the Walking Dead Pinball machine.

Stern has released a large factory topper for the headbox. Its a fish tank with 3 zombie heads inside it .
I think its $399 or $499 and lights up and looks awesome and seems to be interactive.

They have also released bloody body armour, a shooter rod with a zombie head and mirror blade sideart for inside the cabinet.

I like the factory topper for sure.

If someone could add the link it would be great. Too hard for me to do on a I. Phone one fingered if ya know what I mean.

Anyway, factory options for the Walking Dead. Very cool .

Daaaaaamn! Would buy the machine for that topper alone. Interactive with the game lighting also.

If u look carefully at the sideart that is going to fit inside the cabinet, it features hundreds of zombies all facing forwards and walking straight ahead.
I found another picture of it and expanded it and realised it was very detailed with zombies galore.
The topper and the sideart is a done deal for me... Not sure about the shooter nob but prob get one and put it inside the machine. Don't generally like the body armour on a pro but need to see one with it up close and personal.

Maybe Stern will start to do these factory mods/options with all their new titles.... Hope so.

A TFTC style shooter would have been better
