"Strangeways" is actually From the KISS Song "Strange Ways" written by Ace Frehley (my favorite Guitarist of all time).

I thought that might've been where your username came from Nino  *%* I had always wanted to ask you if that was the case!

There ya go !

I used it on music forum, RGP (years ago) and an AFL torrent site !

Mines fairly straight forward.  Marty is my name.  The Simpson's episode where Homer (known his whole life that his name was Homer J SIMPSON - but not knowing what the J stood for) 30 sumthing years later found out it stood for Jay just cracks me up every time.  My middle name starts with J hence the MartyJ.

Great topic Pete

My full name is Daniel Devlin and since kinder everyone just called me DD right through school so for my 21st birthday my mum got me personalized number plates for my monaro DDS.TOY.   So when I first signed up for eBay I used my work email address as I checked that everyday and used DDSTOY as my username but was blocked from using eBay at work so I couldn't activate the user name.  So I had to use DDSTOYS instead LoL

caveoftreasures

"Behind every garage door could be a pinball collectors Cave of Treasures" ( written at the base of my avatar photo etc )

2 years ago when i was on the hunt to buy alot of pins and ended up addicted with 30 dmd machines in a 18 month period (cause the economy was real bad and machines were really cheap and i had some money to play with) when i walked into a shed, or a warehouse, or someones unwanted collections, I had the feeling that some people had gold, treasure and they didnt even realise it. You would see machines with barely any use, selling for peanuts, and some rare machines, again going for peanuts.
* I just felt it was like walking into BlackBeards Treasure Cave and u just didnt know what was going to surprise u next. As a kid, i loved this BlackBeard movie and the cave was full of treasure n gold. I was about 8 yrs old. P.S- When u do a search on youtube or google for caveoftreasures, alot of this weird religious stuff comes up, but it aint me and i have never been in a church ever, but i have been to alot of peoples caves, full of pinball treasure  ^^^

Well I think the name needs little explaination, its where we all feel when we are playing our games! Avatar is from one of my favourite machines 1978 Phoenix.

In the 90s I used to regularily play with a friend of mine Tim. He was a better player than me, and got his name higher up the score table. He liked to rub it in, so i started putting NOB in right after TIM. Yes juvenile snickers followed.

Unfortunately(for me) it stuck and i found myself putting the initials in even when i wasnt playing with Tim.

Mine used to be used by my group of friends in high school about 1970 when we'd refer to someone that we didn't know and was an unknown quantity. I use it because of that relevance for on-line useage and because it's different.
