Hi all,
Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of recent and in-expensive green mods to my CFTBL pin.
Green flipper rubbers, these look great on yellow flipper bats!!
Green flipper buttons & a transluscent green shooter rod, all these parts are very affordable easy mods to do.
A big thanks to Mark C from PSP for stocking these parts, they just look awesome.. ^^^ good work mate.

Did the shooter rod cost $5.95 and the rubbers cost $1.50 each?
-
Agreed, those mods are cheap and easy to do and look real cool!
Excellent game also ^^^

Have you done the Pop bumper colour mods?. When done it looks like the game should have had them to start with IMO.

no not yet,
do you have details of the bumper cap mods, can you get translucent green bumper caps, these would look great!!
-
Nice work v8racefan! The green mods really set off this beast. I miss my creech!

^^^ Looking good. I did mine with the same green rings, but with black flipper bats. Where did you get the cool green translucent shooter rod?

The green shooter rod came from mark c from Pinball Spare Parts only $15.00, well worth the bucks imo
these are a new item on his parts page..

Yep you can get translucent green (sort of an emerald clour) which is what i used. I also changed the skirts to teal green which is a similar colour to the playfield. I also ran some little#555 lamp sockets under the caps to illuminate the pops off the GI-tight fit but do-able. I thought it looked pretty good when finished.

Just another thought as I went and had a look at my former CFTBL last night with a request from it's present owner - pop bumper n/w - just a broken wire on the solenoid but 2 out of 3 of the globes in my pop mod wasn't working so I would suggest if anyone else does this mod use the wedge 555 base with metal strip legs (like FS,FT etc) and not the flexible wire ones as I think the globes are blowing from too much vibration.Just a thought and I'll order some just in case I buy the game back *%*

Check out the enclosed photo,

I used Teal waffers and pop-bumper caps which I found to match the game perfectly. Defo a lot better than the red IMO.

I recently got one of my gear shift plunger knobs made and painted the recessed sections green to blend in with the Creech theme since the idea is you are going to the drive in.
The knob is a nice size and really comfortable and all you need is to order from shapeways and then get a plunger rod from Pinball Life and epoxy glue in place.

getting parts ready for a well deserved refresh of my creature and decided to do a more movie themed mod - movie reel plunger knob and paint the engraved sections black to get closer to a movie reel.

Great idea !
