"gaaaaaaaaaaaaay !" = Not Iron Maiden. That's for sure. Killer live band.
Maybe this title will bring @Wotto (http://aussiepinball.com/index.php?action=profile;u=11) back into pinball ?

this in the end the Iron Maiden has kept alot of it's Archer design elements
and here is a video of the Archer game play, obviously rules and sounds etc are totally different but the shots should be close / refined

The PF and shots look great, I really like the Screen animations but then the music starts and that is where it loses me big time. Yuk....just awful.
It would have been much better as a original theme ie egypt / aliens/ horror/ whatever theme.
I look forward to playing it but would never own it...don't have the patience to replace all that music on pinbrowser.

Can people still modify the Stern's in-built pinball music through whatever that hacker app is? If so, you could replace all the Iron Maiden songs with whatever suits.
This is a decent featured Pro machine.

looks killer but not for me atm. It may end up being like metallica for me and end up buying close to the end of the run where code and bugs sorted.

Same as me. I'll wait for finished code and possibly look at a Premium. Might have to wait a while, but I'll see..

Keith has been quoted as saying the game will be released with "completed" code. I suppose there's a chance seeing he has been working on Archer for years and so the rules etc were probably done and dusted and so all Stern had to do is the graphics and callouts

Translated = New code will be ready in 2020.

rules explained by Keith on the game with glass off, some cool features and display used well to let you know progress

LE game play video, some real nice features

Just watched the first 20mins and I was really hoping not to like the look of it. I don’t care much for Iron Maidens music but the Pin looks like great fun. Lots of cool toys and I really like the positioning of the pop bumpers, i think it adds a bit of risk and excitement when they’re not jammed up safely behind a ramp.
First look and it’s a thumbs up from me.

not a Iron Maiden fan myself but agree the art on the playfield looks good and the layout is great and rules look cool as well. The pops and left ramp are a mirror of Congo as it was a feature he really like on the Congo game.
gotta wonder if they do a re-skin of the same layout down the track.

I am a fan of the band and the artwork is stunning. I really like the layout, and it seems out of the last 4-5 titles, this one is a really good all round package. FOUR flippers - very nice.
Might go a premium down the track, but waiting for codes updates etc is not something I would pull the trigger for just yet.
-
apparently it has almost full code apart from a few possible bugs so they are probably trying to redeem themselves and a number of the new designers on code
people that have played it are saying it doesn't feel like a stern game and more a 90's bally in feel in relation to layout and play
-
making of video
-
Not into the band but the gameplay looks fun.
-
I have played the pro and it shoots really well, love the layout but the music lets it down for me. If it were a different theme I would buy it in a heartbeat.
-
LOOOOOOOOONG ball times so I found it a bit of a snooze.
Music and art suits the game, but not for me.
-
played the pro for about an hour and felt really underwhelmed. I think because it was missing any pizzazz like cool toys and light show happening during play. It felt very 2d to me even though it had some ramps, and had no real character or soul. Metalica may be a simple fan layout, but I think the coding and toy interaction make it fun. IMDN was like going to work for me, play hard and if you do a good job you'll achieve a good score, nothing to make me smile during gameplay. People say the display is great but unfortunately I can look at screens when playing so this is lost by me.
Hope to play the LE to see if the extras make the game for me. BUT this may be a sleeper for me like TZ & TWD and in the end I'll change my mind but it'll be difficult seeing I don't like the band. Hate metallica but the art and toys and coding won me over for $10k
