Australian Pinball Restorations is proud to announce a second joint business arrangement with Platinum Pinball Supplies to distribute their NEW pinball cabinets to suit Bally / Williams games. There will also be some exciting developments with classic 70's and 80's cabinets - but more on that later...
The replacement cabinets come fitted with licensed / authorized cabinet artwork. The Next Gen product supplied by Mr Pinball is the ONLY artwork used on these cabinets and is of very high quality. Customers are welcome to supply their own artwork – but it must be a Mr Pinball Next Gen set.
No pirated or cheap inkjet stickers that wipe of with Nifti..
The following cabinets are available to order right away;
- Addams Family
- Getaway HSII
- Bride of Pinbot
- Scared Stiff
- Creature from the Black Lagoon
- Funhouse
- Medievel Madness
- Monster Bash
- Attack From Mars
The first of the 1980's cabinets is about to be released - Bally FATHOM.
The cabinets are replacements. They can be ordered fully assembled, with licensed artwork. Customers can swap the cabinets over themselves. They can also be ordered as part of a High End Restoration, or "NIB" (Nearly In Box) Restoration completed in house at APR. There are several options we will offer, such as - Ground braid, lock down bar, legs, doors and other hardware.
Shipping nationwide is available at very competitive rates via TNT Express. Cabinets are shipped in two separate cardboard boxes and re-enforced at the corners. They are also well packed inside.
There will also be different options in the finish of the cabinet. There is the "factory" finish and a "High End" finish to suit a restoration.
These cabinets are not available raw, or flat packed.
More details and photos to follow. Examples of these cabinets can be viewed in person at APR. Please feel free to drop in and check them out for yourselves!
These cabinets are ready to order NOW, starting from RRP $1495.00 (inc GST)

I used one of platinum's cabs for an AFM I did a while back. Quality outstanding and a better than factory finish. Can't recommend these enough..

Here are some pictures of the standard Cabinet to suit Getaway HS II - This cabinet is currently in the showroom.

Here is a Terminator 2 that I'm currently restoring for an AP Member. This is a notch up from the standard cabinet.

Note the original silkscreened message will be on all cabinets. Each cabinet will be individually serial numbered on the inside of the cabinet. We are also looking at company logos to ensure that when the games are resold - the cabinets are easily identified as Platinum Pinball Supplies Cabinets. Customers will know that they are buying a genuine cabinet with licensed artwork.

If the game was restored by APR or HRP, there will also be a unique marking on the game.

Wow they look amazing :) good stuff guys.

Excellent news! My Fathom cabinet was not only stencilled by HRP but also supplied and built by them and I can't speak highly enough about the quality and how great it turned out. The skill sets both APR and HRP bring to the table compliment each other perfectly and I can't wait to see the projects which come out of this match up. Great stuff guys!

Ditto the comments.
My AFM was the first production/final proto for the WMS cabs some time back. It still looks brand new.
The Addams in that photo is probably the one Tim dropped off here this week for a resto we have done for a friend of mine.
Love the perfect corners! Tim told me his secret - but I have been sworn to secrecy - they look sensational!

Well done Nino,
these cabs look great ^^^
don't know if its something your considered, have you looked info fitting homepin style cab metal protector, Cab decal need to be trimmed prior,
-
I noticed the Goldwings headbox in the first pic, are you having that 80B style cab remade also?
-
You mention that the artwork has to be licensed artwork, which is all well and good, but I don't believe there is any licensed T2 artwork on the market.
How is that possible?

Correct. It has to be licensed artwork. Here is the list of titles as per the release ;
- Addams Family
- Getaway HSII
- Bride of Pinbot
- Scared Stiff
- Creature from the Black Lagoon
- Funhouse
- Medievel Madness
- Monster Bash
- Attack From Mars
The T2 is a current restoration to an existing machine (original cabinet restored). I posted the pictures to highlight the different levels that can be done, and also the silkscreened warning message on the back of the head.

All options will be considered. We would like to use the Homepin protectors.

We are looking into a number of cabinets. This is a possibility if demand warrants it.
