Title: Little Pro needs a little help
Post by: oldskool1969 on June 18, 2016, 08:10:16 PM
Little Pro Bromley 1990 mini putt putt redemption game. Something different.
Are there any suggestions on how to fix me little ol mate here? he is cast and a replica of the original 1964 pommy game.
He, I shall name him " ol' mate ", has been repaired a few times and I would like to make this his final trip to the metal room before stripping and re-painting.
Thanks Andy

I'd grind off what's left of the original club handle.  Drill a hole in the body and the club heat and insert a new rod

is it possible to drill a small hole up each section of the handle (one he is holding and one with the club) and then install say some piano wire and the Knead It to bind the parts together.

Hi Andy ,Is it cast brass/gun metal??.  Do what Dan recommends. Cut ,drill out and heat then Fit a new shaft ,
I have plenty of Brass rods to suit . They should be tough enough to do the job.  Then you could re-paint it .
Hurry up and get her going too , Im itchin for a game

I had a crack and failed. I am crap at metal work  !)# not sure of material but looks like cast bronze  !@#
Taking lil ol' mate to some steel fabricators/ welders to get the experts to sort.
