Picked these up for $1 each at the laverton markets today and was wondering if they would be any good for pinball rivets? i figured for $1 each it's no biggie if they are not suitable figure they are probably leatherwork tools.

Looks like the tools used to add another notch to the trouser belt !

What Nino said, OR:
You know the "western" style shirts (dress shirt), that has the pearl press studs on them?
That's the gizmo for installing those type of studs through the fabric...
For brass rivets? You'd need forearms that look like your thighs...
Think they are only stamped steel too - would bend real easy IMO?
-
i dont't think they will do the job.
when i am riveting my rivet I have to pull on the press lever with a hell of a lot of force or the rivets end up being loose and i haven't cracked a ramp or plastic yet.
I use a 1 tone arbour press to do mine. Probably over kill but it does the job well

well i have the forearms like thighs %.% but it just goes to show i have absolutly no-idea when it comes to these rivets or what solution i will use when the time comes. &^& these things will at least come in handy for the greyhounds when adjusting collars ect.
