Pinball tournament rules?
« on: March 27, 2009, 08:30:46 PM »
Hi guys,

Quick question, are there specific rules to follow when running a pinball tournament?

I have a couple of ideas, but wanted your feedback on what should and should'nt happen.

I have only entered in one at a faith night at Bumper late last year.

I am thinking about running one in Melbourne at a huge car show later in the year.

Cheers Angelo

Generally the aim is to make it fair and equitable for everyone.

This is usually done by setting the machine on to tournament mode for those that have it. For those that don't, extra balls and so on are turned off, or if that can't be done, the extra ball is plunged but not played.

There also needs to be rules about what happens if the machine is faulty etc.
