Title: C-587-6 Rollover Buttons - available for Xenon and Kings of Steel and others
Post by: swinks on January 19, 2014, 12:06:49 AM
This product - the Bally Rollover Buttons Prt# c-587-6 (item 10 for the Xenon) has been a little while in the making with Crashramp (Adam) helping me with test fits etc. I got Shapeways to make a couple and Adam has test fitted and the item is now open and available to purchase. Note the price is set by Shapeways in which I only earn 20% of the listed price which isn't alot considering the effort.

It suits a Xenon and Kings of Steel as well as possible some others.

So if you want to add new rollover buttons to your game especially if you have purchased a new repro playfield, and even customise will a different colour to white here is your chance.

Enjoy

I should add a big thanks to Adam for requesting the item but also for being patient and helping me with the test fitting etc.  Very much appreciated.

Also the reason I am not making these is that it has a domed head and it is impossible for me to print on my machine without quality issues.

No it's really a huge thanks to you Jady.  ^^^  If you hadn't undertaken this project then these parts would simply not exist. The unpolished sample ones looked great so I can't wait to see the polished ones when my order arrives from Shapeways. Thanks again.

these games also appear to have the same buttons but please check your game specific manual to confirm the parts are the same.

My Shapeways order showed up during the week. I've just sat them in the playfield at the moment but they look fantastic.

I'm not sure if there was a separate thread for these or not, but at the same time that I brought the buttons I also grabbed a heap of these light sheaths. I made them myself for my Flash Gordon restoration so when Jady said he was going to do these I jumped all over them because the original ones were always broken or perished and I knew how much work I'd have to do to make more.
These are a much better alternative, they have really come up well. Thanks again Jady.
