Now that the painting process is over, I'm ready to electroplate the smaller cabinet parts that I won't be taking to the platers (as they don't do Zinc - and they tend to lose small parts). There are parts that just arrived back from the platers (Nickel) and they look AWESOME. But no photos yet - as "my" plating was finished a week ago. I will expand on my "Backyard Plating" thread soon - as there's a few things I've improved on. Note in these photos, there are parts from a number of games - Not just Embryon.

So we start with the Door. Typical - Coke poured down the coin chute etc etc ..

Disassembly - Man that's bad !

Filthy, stained and rusted.. Would you beleive me if I told you these will look new once I'm done ?  #@#

I usually paint the score display mounts. I'm going to try plating them.

My Chemical Lab is open for Business ! This is the 4 Litre kit - Too small for me nowadays, but I need to use it up before I brew a 20 Liter concoction..

Wind forward - and yes - these are the door parts from the previous photo !

Display mounts ;

More parts - the bracket that goes behind the legbolts ;

Various test pieces (I'll explain when I update the plating thread).

The PCB brackets that mount the boards in the headbox ;

More bits from a successful and long session of plating !

Next installment soon !
