a bit old news but for the guys that don't venture past AP.
Pinball Zombies From Beyond the Grave got scrapped and a good part of the playfield has apparently been used for this game.
Limited to 300 machines with I think 50 LE's, with most games gone / allocated with a few days with a priority given to America's Most Haunted buyers. Currently another 300 on the wait list behind the first 300 slots. Production starts in Jan 2016 but no one has seen the full art package nor playfield layour.

Back glass art has been revealed (as below) though signatures were just gained when showing the art to RB
and just released in the last day it will be a colour dmd / lcd - looks like they will beat Stern....
-
This title looks interesting. I love the horror theme, and Rob Zombie's music is a mixture of Metal and alternative rock. These are pretty much sold out, aren't they ?

probably with 600 names down on 300 games, though sure some will drop out once art and layout revealed.

ALL SHALL BE REVEALED!!!
launch video will be 90 seconds

here is a link to the release video,
- translite and cabinet has detailed art looks good (though not a theme for me but can appreciate it)
- playfield has a few toys but playfield art is different - not sure if I need to see it played to get a better static look at it
- colour screen looks cool and great to see a small company do one before Stern.... surely Stern won't hold too much longer.
-
here is a hi rez of the flyer and a video of a video mode (no sound)

Stern keeps selling games without color screens; so they have no need to change their business model.

True but you would think they would. But rumour has it Ghostbusters will be out early 2016 with a colour screen so if it comes true will it won't be long.

I don't like the theme at all, BUT it does look and sound pretty awesome.
The artwork looks great and the though into the toys looks pretty cool. I found myself watching the video again and again as I like the humour and the detail is col.
Wonder if any will make it to Oz?
-
Yeah, the guys up at Pizza & Pinball in Newcastle are bringing games in for the Australian orders....I'd love one!!!
-
Horrible theme.
Rob Zombie.....yuk!

Yeah, the guys up at Pizza & Pinball in Newcastle are bringing games in for the Australian orders....I'd love one!!!

pretty sure P&P are just accepting the sold machines in Aus and then forwarding and not a distributor so to speak - all warranties etc back to the US.
to get on the list you would have to contact, and then hope that 300-400 people drop off to stand a chance in getting one, good luck

with AMH they haven't done the Aussie ones yet and all come in one go regardless of order placement - last ones to be made and delivered.

here is a quick video, Spooky has copped a bit of negativity about the playfield art but he is standing firm and that Rob has approved it and does not want to change it.
anyway here is a quick video

Despite the enthusiastic narration, it fails to excite me at all.
Having said that though.. the colour (LCD) screen is awesome
-
I'm happy Charlie has finally released the 2nd game but I had never heard of Rob Zombie before he mentioned it was the 2nd game.
Anyway the cabinet looks great but I think the PF looks a little bare.

first RZ finished

Looks sorta plain me thinks.
-
mes agree
-
YUK!
-
The inserts and the playfield art look like they are from 2 completely different games. They don't blend together at all.
In general the artwork looks terrible, the same with the colour palette. The whole thing doesn't look cohesive.
-
No thanks :) not alot I like about it really

Anyone here lucky enough to secure a Rob Zombie pin?
-
Let me say firstly, this theme is not for me and was somewhat turned off by it.
But JESUS this is a FANTASTIC pin to play, look at and admire. Was lucky enough to play one today and look right through it. Inside and out.
The art is very impressive, the construction is bullet proof, the toys are insanely detailed, sound is basey and loud and the game play/ruleset is just so well thought up it will appeal to the novice and frustrate the pro. It looks very basic, but this pin has some very cool little tricks up it's sleeve and if you get the chance, play one.
People who know me , know that I looove a good skill shot and with out a doubt this is the most well thought, interesting and neigh on impossible one to achieve. No spoilers sorry.
Here a re a few pics and I would like to thank Mick ( Micksamusements ) for the chance to play.
ABSOLUTE WINNER OF A PIN
