Just Had a Great Day At The races

I had never been to a V8 Supercar race before so I took the boys along to Winton this morning.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially considering the local team got up for the win, great race and drive but I still think the win came down to a little lucky charm they had in the car not long before the race.  The guys at Brad Jones Racing were great in particular Kim Jones.

How good is that.    Your kids have a great dad.   At this age, its great to see them having a blast.   Not many people can say they have sat in a real V8 Supercar before.
Your little fella can. 

I know Leon (V8racefan) is also a huge fan of the V8's. (arent we all)  The V8's just get better every year.  Thanks for posting.

I was a bit jealous actually that I didn't get to jump in....I dare say they looked at my gut and thought better of it.  I remember looking at the roll cage and thinking I wouldn't get back out if I did manage to squeeze in.   

The boys don't realise how lucky they were and how cool it was to actually get to sit in the real deal.  Hopefully it will be a fond memory for them in the years to come.
