Bought 2 EM's today!

Hey Guys!

just got back from picking up 2 Em's today. I bought an Aztec and a Grand Slam. Grand Slam needs some work so will be playing Aztec while dealing with it. I feel a resto thread coming on (trials and tribulations of a noob lol). Seems like ive got a lot of reading to do!

Is that a 72 Gottlieb Grand Slam? Played that one a lot in the arcades. Good fun when properly restored.

Thanks heaps guys!

Condition report;

Aztec: Is working machine with some small adjustments required like balls getting stuck in left lane flippers needing adjustment as sitting too high etc. Playfield has been previously mylared and im too petrified to remove it. will clean it best i can and start working on Grand Slam... Oh backglass not so great...

Grand slam

playfield has seen better days.. wear spots and planking all over. its working but havent had enough games on it to tell if all is well. Cabinets on both machines showing usual scratches and gouges but nothing to bad.

Great pickup.  Loved playing Aztec in my younger years (too long ago now).

I think everyone needs at least one EM in their lineup.  Although they are usually simpler than the more modern pins, their simplicity sometimes is the attractive factor.
