Time to share some pictures of my shed /games room build (2013) with you. I know how excited most of us get in seeing pictures of others games rooms so here goes.
I will start with a few site preparation pictures and add pictures every couple of days.
-
Looking forward to the photos! I can't believe it was that long ago already.. #*#

Yes Marty its already over two years ago. Don't think anyone is going to forget construction day in a hurry,
everyone woked hard all day under very hot conditions.

Rob it's an outdoor games room, solar power at its best.

Yes I am teasing, but I will give you another picture.

Getting ready for the slab
-
Thanks for showing the pics.
Good to see how she started ;)
-
Humble beginnings. I've only seen the finished shed - so I look forward to it's construction. *%*
-
Geez it looks big!
Looking forward to more photos.
-
That's not a pinball shed, looks big enough to be a bowling alley. Is it in the same post code as your house?
-
We thought we were going for a BBQ but Theo handed out tools instead of sausages.
-
Holy Cow that slab looks pretty big, You cant say ( I've got no more room ) ^^^
-
Looking forward to the build pics . Great size by the looks of it ()

Your shed can never be big enough, no matter how big the bugger is.
-
The concrete pour.
-
Looking good theo. You have been waiting for this for so long now I'm excited for you
-
Now that's how a back yard should look!
-
sorry Theo but can't help it. I've been in the colorbomd fencing biz for some time but have to applaud your neighbour for having the best metal fence I've seen for some time. Is it a new Bluescope design?

I believe the correct product title Rob is El Natural R.A.G.
-
Some one has to ask. What's the size of the shed?

Thanks Dan, it has been a long time coming. Time to now start working on the layout and wall/ceiling
decor, will have to come and visit again to get a few more ideas.

Rob, I can happily report that the fence was replaced about two months ago. Unfotunately there was a big wind gust #@# and blew the bugger over.
Some one has to ask. What's the size of the shed?
The slab size is 6.5m x 16m. There are two sheds, the small one is 3m x 6m and the big one is 6.5m x 12m with a 1.0m walkway between them.
-
Great work Theo, looking forward to seeing more progress and ultimately a finished product.
-
Ok, time to move the small shed onto the slab and start assembling the big shed.
Helpers today were my dad, Redback (Dave) and Peter my neighbour.
-
.
-
Looking good Theo. The kids didn't help :)
-
This is going to be unreal
-
Thanks to my dad things were kept moving along.
Roof and wall sections were all assembled on the ground in preparation for assembly day.
-

really shows its size with the blokes holding up that wall mate. Now I'm getting jealous
-
That is one hell of a big games room. Should take care of a growing family for some time.
-
Time Lord technology - it's even bigger on the inside ;)
-
Up goes the other wall.
-
The frame looks like it's cyclone-rated! You guys did a great job - always nice to see mates working together, especially on something this big @@*

The walls are 2.5m high, would of been nice if they were taller. The higher the walls the more room to hang more stuff on.

Amazing how quickly you can start to fill the bugger up.

Not sure how Time Lord Technology works but can you double the inside for me please.

You are 100% correct this would not have been possible without the help of my mates, it was a long stinking hot day but we achieved a fair bit.
-
Time for the roof frame to go up.
-
.
-
Double the inside - rofl.
-
How did you get away with no fire rating on the fence side?
-
Mate this place is huge. Let's welcome the eight wonder of the world, the 'Taj Mah Theo'

Not sure of the exact technicalities, related to open space.

Your shed can never be big enough Rob, no matter how big it is you always find a way to fill it.

Yeah, plus once it's up it's up *%* That is one very strong shed - was an engineer involved? (they always go the full hog - which means it's there for a lifetime). I've seen much bigger sheds with much less frame - .nice piece of kit.

Andy, I looked at a number of shed's from various shed companies and opted to go with this one as it seemed to be the most sturdy. It was one from their standard range of sheds.
Shed build nearing completion and a teaser. Look out for thread to see what's in the shed.
-
Cool tease too ;)
-
Now this is the part I've been waiting for. Seeing what mr theo has been hoarding for all these years.
Looking like lots of goodies so far
-
Notice all the guys working in the photos.
hmm where is Mr T. (behind the camera?)
