As mentioned in another thread, I am beginning to off load a large amount of equipment, tools, pinball parts, bits n pieces which I've used over the past few years.
I am getting out of the hobby for a couple of reasons, so no longer have a need. Where possible I tried to buy the best available and offering the items to AP members only at this stage.
All items are available for pickup in VIC - this is my first preference, however smaller items which can be posted will be done at purchasers expense.
I will keep it to just one thread and add items as I go.
For payment, I'd prefer cash on pickup or bank transfer.
If interested please PM me directly for sale or further photographs.
Weller PCB stand
First item on offer is a Weller PCB stand which I purchased several years ago. Has been a great item and perfect for the home hobbyist through to professional.
Price $50.00

Williams Alpha-Numeric display (parts only)
Third item on offer is a Williams [D-12232-2] Alpha Numeric display. This is for parts only. I cannot recall which machine it came out of I believe it was a System 11 game.
One glass has been removed, so its classed as parts only. There is a number of IC's on there which can be used. There is also a 7 digit slave display (numeric only) P/N [5762-10933-00 rev C].
Again all to be treated as NON working
Price $10.00

Fourth item on offer is a roll of 20mm CHROME t-moulding. I believe there would be around 10mtrs or so.
Unused.

Hey Damien,
No the resto's was only ever a side part time project and I'd never even come close to making an income from it. Sadly the fun / enjoyment is gone so time to pack up and offload all of the resto gear.

All goods sold have now been collected / picked up / sent. I will be listing some more items in a few weeks..
ROM burner is still available, everything else is gone.
Unfortunately due to ONE single member who has intentionally decided to take advantage, by keeping goods without sending payment, any future sales will be payment upfront prior to me dispatching goods (unless I've dealt with you previously)..

That's low, especially from a member.
-
You shld name n shame the person who has ripped you off, and perhaps get the MODS to ban them for a low act unless they come good.
Its not the Aussie Pinball way for people to take advantage of someones generosity and trust , espescially after u Marty have not only sent them the stuff, but have provided heavily discounted good quality items to them. Hope they do the right thing by you.
-
I am disappointed at this person....Just to clarify its NOT anyone who posted in the thread about buying items, was via PM.
For such items I have been happy to send without payment upfront, let the receiver get the goods, test / make sure they are happy then pay. Was done the same and confirmation was received that the item worked and they were happy! Item was sent late Feb / received early March with confirmation. My 3 PM's have been ignored and the member logged in numerous times since. Just in case they had blocked me, I sent an email but this was ignored too.
I wont name / shame, as I'm still deciding what course of action to take.

We have been informed and we respect Marty's request for anonymity at this point in time. If the member chooses to ignore the request's, we will take action to remove his account. There's no room on our site for people that behave in this manner without reason.
-
sorry to hear Marty, I hope this person pays up - it's the right thing to do
sad to see you getting out of it altogether
-
That's pretty low. Sorry to hear Marty
-
Pay up ^.^
-
That's a very low act. Pay up!
-
Maybe give that person until the end of today now the issue has been put out there, if no contact it might be time to name and shame.
Whatever the reason, it isn't the done thing.
-
Marty, I'm interested in any ICs you may sell

Talk about burning your bridges .. come on, do the right thing and Pay UP !
-
Getting ripped off by forum members is nothing new. I've been burnt myself through my Pinball Life orders i organise
for members on both forums.
-
Hi All
I'll confess it's me. I'm the guy that needs to be named and shamed.
Apologies again for the delay in payment Marty.
I've just transferred $25 via bPay - should be in overnight.

glad you did the right thing and paid

Sorry about the name and shame suggestion, but unfortunately, its only after these things are suggested, things always get fixed within a few days.
Obviously a misunderstanding since u have jumped on and cleared it up. You didnt have to say anything publically, u could have just sent Marty a PM.
Hey, at least u know, if anyone ever owes u a $$, you will always have 50 AP people standing behind you.
Dont let this tiny hassle stop you from being the valued and wanted AP member u have always been. Its old news now. ^^^
