Title: Fuse Packs now available
Post by: Homepin on June 04, 2013, 07:32:43 PM
The packs I have made up are as follows:

All 3AG SLOW Blow (T)

15pcs each: 1/4A, 1/2A, 3/4A, 1A
25pcs:  3A
20 pcs each: 5A, 7A, 8A
25 pcs: 10A

All 3AG FAST Blow

25pcs each: 4A, 5A
20pcs each: 6A, 7A
25pcs each: 10A, 20A

That's a total of 310 fuses

Packed seperately in plastic zip bags with a label and then in a cardboard box for postage (inside a fleabay fixed price ROAD delivery satchel).

This is about the most economical way of sending I could come up with since Australia Post upped the price recently.

$46 including packing and postage to any Australian destination. That's less than $0.15 each including post and also including slow blow types that are well over $1 each elsewhere.

I will even include FREE a 2 page excerpt on fuses from my book in the making "How Pinball Machines Work...and what to do about it when they don't"!

Direct bank deposit or PayPus (as a gift/friend). PM me for details.

The response has been overwhelming for these packs.

I have run out of the cardboard boxes so packs sent after today will be packed in bubblewrap.

Still plenty of packs available.

While we are on the subject of fuses this is what happens when you replace a 3A fuse with a 30A (don't do it):

Thanks Mike,

Fuses arrived yesterday (Saturday) but I didn't notice until today. I hope I never get a chance to use them all, as I reckon I'd have no hair left if I did :D

Looking forward to reading the rest of that excerpt too ^^^

Hey Mike

Have you received my messages, I haven't heard back from you.

The guy who packed the fuses has been away for a week. I instructed him to make ALL fuses into packs. I can see boxes full of the packs.

I have no idea if there are any extra fuses (left over) or not and wouldn't know where to start looking so I can't say if I have loose fuses left anywhere (apart from what we have reserved for board construction.

When he gets back I will ask but I suspect he will say "you told me to make them all into packs???"
