Hi Does anyone know where to get a 6414 or 5514 or a 6514 chip for a Zac Time Machine.
Ive been over the CPU board a few times trying to find why it wont boot, the led just flashes all the time.
when i got this machine 12 months ago it wasnt working, so i done the acid damage and played around and got it running
i played a heap of games on it and it run well, then didnt touch it for a few months and now it wont boot.
I need a chip for IC4 to see if that will solve the boot problem, it would be good if someone had a time machine to see if the board worked in there machine.

Big thanks to Mike for supplying the chips, they showed up today and i installed one in my Time Machine
and it now works again.
BUT now i have no sound, i put a connector plug on wrong cn6 (i think) on the sound board.
I done this because ther are locating pins on the connector plug so you get them on right, but the pin is broken, so i have put it on in the wrong position.
the plug has Ground, -5, +5 and 12v then on a seperate plug 2 speaker wires.
So the ground was on the -5 pin, -5 was on +5 ect.
would this damage something, i guess so.

So you let the smoke out - that will do it every time........

And blue light.
I remember turning the machine on a long time ago and there was a flash like a fuse blowing, so this must have been what it was, ordered a new tda1510 of ebay from china, so will have to wait a few weeks for the parts.
