Waxing my PF and never really read anything on the plastic ramps etc. Can you or do you suggest waxing these?
-
Why would you want wax on them? Not asking to be rude, but cant see why a plastic ramp needs wax. Sure you gotta clean them, Mr Sheen would do that ok, and guess its a mild wax.

Exactly that, I don't know but then I've read stuff on sites that I would never of thought of doing and now its a matter of course. BTW I always used MR Sheen on PF's but then got told no go. SO I'm always questioning things and trying to work out what's best for me and my machines.
Reason for the question though was waxing protects the PF and speeds the action up and I notice ball trails on the ramps and figure maybe the same applies. Dunno
Appreciate your comment thanks

I use have used Mr Sheen to clean mildy dirty PFs, but never rely on it for a protective wax. It has its place l am sure.

I never use Mr Sheen on playfields. Good for the cabinet only.
Plastics ramps - You can't go past Novus 2 and a toothbrush !

.. and that's their choice, Greg.
I won't use it because it contains water and uses a propellant that will force the liquid into the cracks on a playfield. Since most of the work I do is on older pins - with well worn laquer or CC, I won't risk it.
Spray nifti on a rag, and I'm happy.
Each to their own, I guess - I use Mr Sheen on the cabs and it does an amazing job.

Yep thats cool Nino, shellite has become my weapon of choice for dirty PFs.

Is that before or after I use the toothbrush?? %.% Maybe I can kill to birds with one stone Nino. I usually clean my ramps this way but just pondered on the thought of wax

So you want to "wax your teeth" and "clean the ramp" ?
Give it a go ! Novus used to only be used for car bumper bars and dashboards ! A little experimentation won't hurt.
