Post by: davo on May 21, 2009, 10:53:28 PM
I just bought 2 old kelvinator fidges 60s vintage ( the really cool loking ones with the big chrome handle) that i want to restore for the garage, does anyone know about restoring these things where to get parts etc?

Not that I can help you, but I just finished my shed fridge the other week..
I am just about to start on a 60's Frigidaire now, going to a candy lime green with heavy metalflake!

Awesome stuff Slammer.

It would be very cool if you could do a playfield on the side of the fridge? (no pun intended there either)...

My spray painter wont let me LOL, he uses House of Color Candies, I am the apprentice, I just get to do the rubbing back.

I have another mate who does the striping for me, I just let him loose on whatever and don't give him any set style to follow.

Cheers Angelo
