Title: Bally Aces High 1965
Post by: bhesser on February 12, 2019, 05:43:53 AM
I have a 1965 Bally Aces High I think the motor should only turn 1/3 rotation but the motor will do a 1/3 rotation and then a 2/3 rotation and then a 1/3 rotation and continues this sequence when in game play.  I seems to be occurring when a 50 point score is hit or when the card (ace, king, queen, 10) Mushroom bumpers are hit twice.   Pictures, schematics suggestions what could be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated. This machine has a carousel score motor not sure if that makes a difference.

I did have a similar issue with the score motor, and checking with my old notes, it was a timing issue on the 50 points awarded when rolling over a top inlane. From what I remember, it was an adjustment on the first bank of score motor switches. The motor was not enabled for the 10 point relay to activate 5 times. It only activated 4 times. I can't recall exactly what set of contacts, but it was a simple fix, but hard to locate.
Report back with any updates. Aces High is an awesome player.
