Title: Shipping Playfields
Post by: Retropin on October 21, 2008, 09:05:53 PM
Ive had another chat with my courier.

They go on an estimated weight value.

A box 1.3M X 600mm X 200mm. Is the maximum i can ship with them. The estimated value HAS to be 40KG or under. So if someone were to ship the above box, the estimation is as follows:

1.3 X .6 X .2 = .156. Then multiply this value by 250 = 39.

It doesnt matter the exact dimensions of the box so long as the above equation equals 40 or less ( clear as mud???)

Now the price to ship this from Melb, Syd and north to Rockhampton is under $20 each way. Unfortunately they dont service Adelaide - for this i have to go with the other courier.

Its a great deal for a single PF. For 2 PF's it would be best to go with the other courier or ship 2 boxes.

This price is Freight on - its paid at my end, i can then send it back containing one fully restored PF for the same price. Door to door.

Hows that for  service???
