Post by: cwispy on February 18, 2022, 05:05:28 PM
I have been working on making a replacement for the now obsolete LM323K, 5 volt 3 amp regulator and as I am in the final stages of testing, I thought others here would be interested in what I am doing. I will be selling these, but pricing is not yet determined.

The main specifications of my replacement board is.

Input: 8 - 32 volts
Output: 5 volts (min 4.94, typ 5, max 5.06)
Current: 4.25 A continuous
Under Voltage Protection
Over Voltage Protection
Over Current Protection
Continuous short-circuit protection
Thermal-Shutdown Protection
High efficiency, up to 94%

Measured output ripple of 15mV to 30mV under load of between 1 amp and 4.25 amps.
