Hi, have been reading the posts the last month or so and thought i'd introduce myself, names A. Laird but see that there is already an A laird here so as 2nd place i'll go by Lenny, Adelaide is my base, have been into pinnies for 20 odd years bought and sold a few EM's in the eighties, got married then lost the faith, !@) have just bought a GTB Victory of MarkC (thanx love this pin!) and am now back as a prodigal son!, would love a GTB genie or big shot or black hole, thanx regards Lenny $#$

G'day Lenny. Welcome to the forum ^^^
-
%)% Lenny! Two "A Lairds" on this forum. What are the chances?
-
Welcome A Laird from A Laird! I lived in Adelaide for two years when I first got married, so we could have run into each other as Adelaide is such a small town (every time we went down Rundle Mall my wife would inevitably run into people she knew), but I guess we didn't.
Good to see you have got yourself a pinball machine; I see you have caught the bug and already want another one.
On the topic of A Laird's, I do know of another Andrew Laird from Sydney who moves in the same sort of circles as me, and I am sure some Facebook friend requests have come to the wrong Andrew Laird. It is not a real common surname. (The guy in Sydney is not into pinball as far as I know!)

Hi Lenny
Can you remember the names of the EMs you bought and sold in the 80s?
-
one was a GTB flying carpet, was in average condition the other couple were grand prix williams? !@# i think and another couple of horse racing, two i got from a mate who bought them of the arcade owner at Glenelg before magic mountain was built and the horse one (can't remember name of it "something racing"?) from a fish and chip shop at lake bonney in the riverland and the other horse one was derby? which had a white horse on the pinlite, wish i had them now! &^&
