Title: Hairy young girl I picked up on the weekend
Post by: rads on July 27, 2009, 07:41:20 AM
One of my other interests is Harness racing.  The group of mates I race horses with and I bought this weanling filly on the weekend.  This hobby makes pinball look cheap, but its a stack of fun when they win, particularly when they pay $17 as the other one that is racing at the moment paid the other day.

Average bill is around $1000 a month.  I am in them with 5 others.  I couldn't do it on my own.  The other one I have is a nice horse who is earning and that is the only reason I bought this one.  I have had one going around pretty much for the last 20 years.  I would hate to think what i have spent in that time.

My other one is called Elite Prospect and is racing at Melton Friday night.  I am backing him each way.  I take no responsibility if anyone else backs him and loses.  We are trying, which in this game is half the battle.
