Yep, if you are on Facebook you can vote on Stern's next pinball theme.
They are looking to do a new pinball, but you get to vote (OK, give feedback) on whether it is AC/DC, LOST, Aerosmith, Metallica, or 2012!!!
Or maybe even a Michael Jackson theme...
Check it out here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/STERN-PINBALL-INC/136972659243

If the money talks, then ACDC. I HOPE they do not make it because I would have to consider selling all my pins to fund the purchase :lol
-
Personally - Metallica. But I may then be in the same boat as you EB. The sacrifices we must make as adults hey !!!
-
$%$ Acca Dacca !! $%$
Would be an absolute must-have for me too Greg.
-
ACDC ...... TNT Theme...... Explosions / Dynamite / Bombs spiralling in etc, etc.............
Could do something like light up the letters T..N..T to "Blow up Our Video" .............Could have HEATSEEKER bombs flying and crazyness going on................
-
AC/DC would get my first vote
And metallica would be my second vote.
lets face it in 10 or 15 years time people will say "what was lost" or 24 or csi and so on but i am sure people will still know ac/dc and metallica.
the lock sequence should be "can i sit next to you" as the balls will all be side by side.
and a great big ramp or dual level p/f with the top level being "a long way to the top"
and let there be rock sequence. light, sound, guitar
then they could a have a set of drop targets with all the different drummers. @@*
the list of things they could do with ac/dc would be very long.
-
+1 on the vote for AC/DC #*#
This would go well next to my guns n roses pin :lol
-
Playfield items (Toys or Mods) could be:
TNT (Dynamite sticks)
Hells Bells
Cannons
Guitars & Picks
Cannon Balls
etc,etc
-
AC/DC would quite possibly be the biggest selling Stern for years, assuming they get the gameplay half decent, the theme will, um, rock.. .. .. :lol
-
Metallica for me, my fav band *%*
I do love AC/DC and have half thier albums and DVDs and been to their concert, but Metallica has a better variety of sounds/songs and I own every Metallica album and DVD.
-
i would like to see a ''pink'' pinball....... just imagine
ac/dc would b good also ...DAZ..
-
For me ACDC, it is a must do.These guys are legends. If it does happen they must include Bon Scotts face on there somewhere. @@*.
-
For me - I would vote for a Leisure Suit Larry themed pin!
I'm sure Al LOWE (if he still owns it) wouldn't charge an arm and a leg for the rights to it and I reckon it would be a very funny game!
-
someone mentioned a michael jackson theme.
ummmmm, noooop, dont think stern supports kid touchers.
Acca Dacca for sure, but because they r not Americans, it will never happen.
if you have been to america alot like i have, you would know what i mean.

Totally agree. It would be fantastic to have a really ballsy machine . . . . long overdue.

Hmm, whilst I vote for a different theme - you make a very good point. Can you just imagine bashing away on the pin, volume to 10000 with [insert name of band here] absolutley cranking *%* Whilt Metallica get my vote, AC/DC would also be awesome.
Saw on the Facebook page last night that Stern had actually approached Metallica a couple of years ago and it went nowhere. Anyone esle heard this?
Is it wrong to be so excited about something that may never happen? I hate being disappointed :lol

what a bunch of whiners on that site.
I saw that metallica pin on another AP thread and was very impressed with that one of custom pin.

They sure are, I hadn't even read the comments and obviously some of those guys hadn't even read the article !!@

some of the wankers are even suggesting that metallica should or will sue the guys who are making the pin, if they had read the artical they would realise metalica paid people to make it. &^&

AC/DC gets my vote.
Jail Break...... he made it out with an extra ball in his back......... Jail Break
-
hmmmm
hoping it will be good
i believe they have spoken to MANY different people to see what they can do
-
I think Stern should ask some of the previous designers for a non themed pin. See if they can come up with something cutting edge. Its been almost 10 years since we saw Williams roll out Pinball 2000. Maybe its time for something like Wizard Blocks or even better.

after playing wizards blocks again, hope it get released to the market . Still needs to be finished but I am sure this can be done
unsure if Stern could do it bu then again stranger things can happen
still Stern will have some good titles if rumours are correct in 2010
