Played it once many years ago and thought it pretty boring. Doesn't seem to get much love that I can recall.

No offense to you or anyone who owns one on this forum,  #@#

but i don't think people think too much of it.  &^&

Let me put it this way. In 1995 its competitors were titles like

AFM
TOM
Pinball Magic.  !@#

I think the Pinball suffered the same fate as the movie.

No offence to anyone that might own one, of course  !^!

What about a Bally Hardbody??

Hardbody is a wierd theme - You thought Bally would have learnt after "Future Spa"..

Interestingly enough - Hardbody is a very similar layout to Bally "BMX"

The machine that I think is the only 1/10 - "Raven"... Now there is a shocker !

There is one in the trading post for $2,000.00 (no pics).  IF this is the game you're looking at I would strongly suggest having a game first (hopefully the seller should be OK with this).  If you love it, then make an offer, although I would suggest that before you part with your hard earned maybe take a trip to Mark's and play some other titles.  I nearly made a similar mistake on another pin before I was steered towards a Last Action Hero.  Its not a overly popular machine, but now that I have it, I don't think I would part with it (well almost did, but long story)..It is great fun, lots of action etc and they can be picked up at a fair price...

It all comes down to what you want out of the machine.  If you want to have lots of fun, keep coming back for more and more then you'll want a machine which gives you the 'hook', to keep coming back again and again.  Then when you're sick of it, have a break and then you're happy to play again.  Even though I love pinnies, there are some which I wouldn't buy...

The website http://www.ipd.org is a good reference.  I generally have a read there of other people comments etc as well, but these are only other peoples opinions...again - play as many machines as you can before making the choice...

For me - I had played T2 heaps when a youngster - so I loved the game already...The LAH - didn't get to play, but took a knowledagble person's advise and of course they were 100% right...My last machine - the Police Force....This one I hadn't played...Based only on comments from IPDB..but I lucked out again and this ones a keeper for ever...

$2000 will buy you a lot more value these days.

If I was offerred a Waterworld for $2000 I would take it and expect the machine and $1000 change  :lol

Ahh, OK its not the one in Sunbury!...Still at $1500.00 is quite a bit of coin.  Just keep in mind, with low production figures that means a couple of things...(1) people didn't buy them for a reason - as pointed out earlier I think some stella titles came out around the same time, not their fault!  BUT (2) - parts...IF playfield plastics, bumpers, toys etc.. are gone then you may really struggle to find spares.  Even with the popular titles you struggle to get pieces too- but this is generally for other reasons... (((

Have a look, play it and see.  If there're asking $1500 then you might be able to pick it up for $1000 cash.  At that price, definately worth the petrol to look......

Good luck &&
