Im interested to know how you know the ROM is reading corrupt?
-
interesting placement of the legs on this machine too!

Wow! Interesting game. You should get some photos over to www.ipdb.org as all they have is the flyer.

Got no idea how to burn/copy Roms ect so didn't wont to stuff it up so sent it to Travis to see if he could copy it.No luck as it just comes up with read errors.
The ROM is very thin and had gold legs which were broken and someone had tried to solider new one on which did not work. Not if sure the damage was done then or before but if i can find a copy it would be nice.
Hard to find any information at all on this machine at all, going to post on some of the USA forms and see what happens.
Someone in Australia must have one in there back shed somewhere *%*
cheers
Craig

Wow Craig,
I had never even heard of this game before! What a cool looking pin.
As the other guys suggested post on RGP and send more pix to IPDB - where did you pick up this game?
-
I've never heard or seen of this game. That would be a very rare find.
You might have to post a tech thread on RGP
-
Here is the flyer from IPDB - freaky looking pin!

Yea i think it might be my best chance, was hoping you might have seen one before.
Was one of my first pinball package deal a long time ago.A big together(sega) and a big town(playmatic) 500 for both non working. Got all excited as now i have two pinballs in my collection, that was until i did some research on them. Because the sega had this problem i never really done anything to this machine.Wasted all my time on the playmatic.(still works at random)
Got to move it as need some room so i thought i try again.
-
Mate - where are you located??
Id be interested in buying this non working if its for sale.
problem with SEGA pins is that you are very much on your own when it comes to fixing them.
id certainly be interested in this as a long term fix project

Spoke to my buddy John Wart Jnr in the States (pretty much Mr ROM around RGP) and he responded like most of us - never heard of the game before he got my email. No luck there with the ROM. I'd certainly be doing a post on RGP as someone might be able to help. Another option would be to e-mail Clay (who writes the www.pinrepair.com materials) and see what he knows.

Any chance of taking pics of the machine? playfield, boards cabinet etc and uploading to http://www.ipdb.org/ ?

That's a truly unique pinball. I hope someone can help you get it going, Craig.
Thanks for posting pictures, I can say I've "seen one" now.
-
I had no idea SEGA were making pins this long ago. Amazing!

Different John replied, that was John Robertson, pretty knowledgeable dude he is too.
Found this old post on RGP, looks like might be a post from an earlier owner, and a reply with some maybe useful info:

That was me a while ago when i first started to use the Internet(love the capitals &^&) and had no idea about pinball.
Tried emailing that site but got no luck.
-
Did they reply at all?
-
Sent an email to Leon http://www.flipper-pinball-fan.be/
He also doesn't have the ROMS or know anyone with them, he even asked around.
Best bet seems to lie with your original ROM.
-
Thanks mate will do
Will take some photo of the inside the machine, just need to find the bloody key for front door.
-
Not having much luck,no one seems to no much to about it.
So does that mean i can use the word RARE when i try to explain it.
Will kept looking and hopefully will find one.Just would like to no were they all end up after been exported.

Actually, it was Data East becoming SEGA, who then became Stern.
But, this was a SEGA pinball from well before Data East existed (late 70's / early 80's I believe). So, Stern would not have the ROM's for this.
