can anyone advise where to purchase the black foam/rubber that goes around the monitor on a swep1/RFM? I am getting glare from the fluro on top of the pf glass. The strip is missing on my replacement crt.

Yes, they tell me this strip doesn't come with the unit. I tend to agree as this is a special application where the gap the crt fits into isn't real snug and has gaps that let the fluro lighting filter through. I can possibly take the rubber off the old but would prefer to get new. They refered as weather stripping.

Might be worth taking the rubber off the old screen for the time being, but as Tony said, you should be able to get weather stripping from Hardware stores.

You can get this stuff from Caravan / camper parts / accessory shops , they use it to seal windows and doors etc , also Clark Rubber have it .
Cant remember exactly what it's called but it's something like "adhesive foam rubber" , You just peel the back off and it sticks , It comes in all sorts of different sizes including the size you can use to replace the the foam behind pinball standup targets , actually you can use any size and cut it suit it the same stuff exactly :)
