Hi,
My T-Rex moves down to eat the ball, but the linkage is broken so he can't pick them up or chew them.
From pictures on the net it seems the little right angled tab (about 3mm square maybe?) that attaches to the T-Rex's left hand side jaw has broken off my linkage - i'm trying to do a fix rather than wait for one from the US. Whether i solder, weld or araldite some extra light steel to the existing linkage will be determined over the weekend.
Questions
Does this linkage attach through the hole on the left hand side of T-Rex's lower jaw (mine looks a bit flogged out) and if so is it just the right angle that holds it in place (or does it do 2x 90 degree angles to lock in)?
Is my estimate of 3mm about right for the length of the little tab?
At the coil end of the linkage is there anything to hold it in the coil (apart from compression spring) or is it just the tab at the jaw that holds everything together?
Thanks
Rob
