hi there, just bought my first pinball.whitewater.
have spent plenty of hours already, changing globes and rubbers.
machine is cleaning up well.very time consuming.
now getting a lost ball alarm?any ideas?
thanks guys!

Hi craig, %)% congrats on your first machine mate!!!

Hi Craig and welcome to the site.
Probably first thing to check is that all the balls have returned down to the front of the machine under the apron (3 in total), then check the switches the balls touch to make sure they are working. Otherwise if a ball is missing from there, common place with the white water (mine any way) is that it gets stuck in the dimple formed where the ball shoots up to the top playfield via the wire ramp feed or possibly somewhere else in the game.
Hope that helps as a starting point if you haven't already check those things.
Enjoy it is a awesome game especially with the latest chip.

Hi Craig and welcome mate.
Excellent choice on your first machine...Wh20 is a cracking game! I love mine and it is easily one the best titles ever imo.
I hope you have fun with it and if you get to the Vacation Jackpot you will see one of the coolest things ever on a pinball machine.

Welcome Craig great game and I agree with the tips already given by swinks. My ball also gets stuck on the upper playfield occasionally. If not put it into switch test and check t
As you put each ball in that a switch is activated

Welcome aboard, nice first machine!

hey wow all the support feels great guys.
there was no lost ball error today.
the bigfoot alarm seems to have escaleted.now states bigfoot error!
i found the manual on internet, but too mean to print!
worked initially to get all globes working, getting used to menu and operation.
cant get 2nd r (river) to light, it used to sort of work, but now nothing?!
i was inspired to check switches today, getting used to how it works.got a few dud switches. i think.
i have changed to chip also for free play. found a setting to reflect this in utilities?. , but cant get a game to start yet.
i noticed the lighting flicker/pulse, hope power supply not on way out!
cheers craig

hey ive just come back to this post after having done more investigations into things.
and i notice that the advice given above was spot on!
my machine is suffering from a number of problems as follows:
(after stevecee has fixed my power board)
capacator(s)
at least 3 transistors
2x switches
2x opto switches
toplight lights(after i changed to leds!!!)
damage to the playfield (esp rafts, and outholes 2off)
kicker not working.
i have a buggered coindoor/coinmech.
legs are horrible
plunger is flogged out.
i will stop there though i could go on!
jeez these machines are complicated!!!
she is not "pretty", thats for sure.
but i love her!!!!
hope to make her playable today!!!!
specifically, my problem is due to a dud diode at no.1 ball posn (home position).
wish both steve and myself luck!
cheers

'Allo Craig %)%
Another case of revhead/pinball fan.
What a great feeling to acquire your first machine, it's a good one too!
Usual problem, it's the thin end of the wedge - WW will now cry out for a companion and so on.
And on.
Cheers
