Gday all .
I've been lurking on here for a couple of weeks and thought it was time I posted. I've been a member of AA for a few years (again mostly lurking) and have had help from a number of you on and off over the past few years.
Its great to find this site and I'm enjoying catching up with all the info here.
I've been collecting pinnies for a bit over 3 years now and currently have 6 , 4 EM ( Blue Chip , Duotron, Spanish Eyes and Moon Flight) and 2 early SS (Firepower and Tri Zone). I live in North Western Sydney , married with 2 teenage daughters (15 and 13).
I bought my Spanish Eyes from Tony (Illawarra Steelers) last year, my Blue Chip was also originally his some years back.
I also sold another Blue Chip to Mark (not sure of his nickname on here) a couple of years ago.
Like others I expect to spend a lot of time on here as this is where most of the pinball chat/info is now .
Well done to the mods on a great site!
A couple of my missions this year are
1) sell a couple of my pins to make some room for 1 or 2 different ones
2) build a sit down driving cabinet
Rgds

Dave,
Good to hear from you and welcome to AP! ^^^
How's my old Spanish Eyes going? *%*
-
Gday Tony .
Spanish Eyes is still whipping my Butt!! ::) . Gotta be the hardest game I've ever played.
I still have to get some new lane guides for it which should dress it up nicely.
Good to hear you are making progress with your resto's of all those old games you have .
Hope to visit you again one day.
Cheers
Dave

Nice collection there - But it is always a shame to sell machines due to space !
Feel free to document your Cabinet build here - even though we are pinheads here, there are guys that love vids as well !

Dave, welcome to the NUMBER ONE pinball information source for the Land of Aus!
Not only that, but the active members are all good blokes (except for Mark C, we have now worked out what the "C" stands for :lol ) Nah, even Mark's OK...
Looking forward to seeing your posts. I imagine with two teenage daughters the safety of the study/PC room is regularly sought?
-
Welcome mate, this really is the numero uno spot for Pinball repair/resto information and general pin chit chat. Many guys like yourself (me included) whom post both here and AA .... %)%

Mate .. your not wrong there !
I regularly escape to the 'computer room' and my mini arcade %.%
I am the only male in my house , even the 2 cats are both female ::)
If I could find the $$ I would build a shed so I could expand my arcade plus lock em out !! , but have just had a major bathroom reno done, plus took the family on a 10 night cruise early Dec 08 , so gotta pay some $$ back to the mortgage before I can spend any more on my addiction !!!

Getting in a bit late here (normally try to get on first page for a hello) but hello and welcome from sunny Melbourne. Just hoping nothing melts on the pins down here!
What pins will you be chasing if you do sell one or two?

Gday Andrew .. I'd like to get a Gottlieb single player EM from the 70's .. unfortunately I only have room for 6 pins at the moment and I really want to build a sit down driving cabinet this year so my current plan is to sell 2 of my pins to make room for the driving cab + 1 other Pin .
My dream (like most) is to have heaps more pins but as I said earlier in this thread I have other financial priorities (like we all do I guess)

Hi Dave ,nice to see you here $.$

Gday Ken .. been meaning to drop you a line .. got a problem with my Firepower (again) .. this time I'm pretty convinced its a fault on the CPU board (in the blanking circuit) .. poor old Firepower has been dead for past 3 months or so !!!

That's no good dave ,can't have a dead pinball lying around taking up space :lol
You need to get it working!
Send me an email and fill me in on the details

No worries Ken ..
its actually pulled down atm as I needed room to store all the new bathroom parts ::).. I'll revisit the symptoms and drop you an email ... really appreciate your advice/tips as always .. in fact 2 of my 6 pins are currently pulled down (both faulty anyway.. the other one is my troublesome Zaccahria Moonflight EM)
Cheers
