I noticed that a lot of you use sandpaper or other means to clean guides. I found the perfect tool and it makes the job not only easy but provides excellent results. From my quickie restoration guide:

I think they run about 5 bucks a piece and I usually buy a new one every couple of restores. The guides do come out looking new.

Chuck,
I'm planning to give your method a try on my next rebuild.
Do you use a wet method with windex as well, or completely dry?
