Any ideas on the average length of bally widebody playfield braid required. I need to order from OS and don't want to spend a million on freight and end up with metres left over that will never be used.
thanks

great question, but on the flip side I am sure if you got a bit extra you could on sell it.
I would be interested in 1-2 machines worth if you had to get a big roll of it.

I know its the old 'how long is a piece of string'. I kinda figured 15 feet but a quick look underneath makes me think maybe 45 feet is more the go. Obviously freight jumps a fair bit between these two measurements and then I'd hate to under buy as well.
What do most people consider a good safe length to purchase?

Are you talking about ground braid?
A 100 foot roll will do 2-3 pins worth.
If you are looking locally to save on international MrPinball in Melb has this in stock.

I have just bought a roll and it will ship in my next container due into Brisbane about middle of December. 1/4 inch wide tinned copper.
Unsure of the price yet - but it will be pretty cheap - postage will probably be the issue but count on an $8 Aus Post satchel guess.

the stuff I'm talking about is the earth/ground that is stapled under the playfield and not on the cabinet

Stuff I need is 18 gauge round wire not 1/4" flat. Thanks mate
