Scored a map/plan filing cabinet as a giveaway off gumtree. Made up some mounts of angle iron and bolted it up high - this way it doesn't intrude on the floor space, and i don't need to access it all that often.

Open it up and look what fits absolutely perfectly....

great idea Rob ^^^ and a nice collection of decals there.
-
Nice! Never thought of that sort of use - a couple of years ago I scored some furniture from a place owned by a client for my office, there were dozens of those there - would have grabbed one if I'd thought as cleverly as you have! @.@
-
Would watch that the heat doesn't affect the decals being up near the roof like that.
Otherwise great idea

Note to self - Must check Gumtree more often !
I think playfields would fit as well ?
-
Yep, playfields would fit in no worries.
I did wonder about the heat/humidity affecting them, and will definitely keep an eye on things - that said, i have heard of people storing them for ages with no problem - except when they keep them rolled up.

Result.
Great idea and a pretty good bargin from Gumtree.
