Hi everyone since I first opened my AC/DC the are behind the band members annoyed me it just looks unfinished so I decided to do something about it. (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/22/ge4ydu9e.jpg)
So with a massive thank you to Swinks (Jady) for all his help with this project Which finishes off this ugly area.
This requires no modifications to your game and no extra screws it so simple its a shame I waited so long before doing it.

The one in the pic will be the end product I have a heap already laser cut just wanted a prototype done to make sure it worked as planned before I get the rest bent up

They mount in between the band members plastic and the steel from the assembly.
You loosen the screws spread the plastic from the frame and slide it in between then re tighten the screws

Daniel deserves all the credit, his measurements, idea, run around I just helped do a cad file, I reckon it tidies it up almost finishing off the stage look and looks great

Not only does it look great but it actually serves a purpose in finishing off an otherwise waste of space. Very impressed and can see it selling well

I am tempted to grab a red one as well. Any idea how much postage will be? Postcode is 2642.

Can't see postage being any more than $10 but ill have to wrap one and see I'm sure yet will fit into a 500gm satchel

Well I be changed the red plastic my proto was very hard to see when the flashers were not going so I've changed to a different material. Looks way better
I can get the same in blue Pete so yours won't be a problem ;)

The lighter red looks good. How does it look on the machine with lighting behind it?
How do you reckon another flasher underneath would go or no need? it doesn't look like it would be too hard mounting a globe holder onto the side of the cabinet if you don't mind an extra hole in the woodwork.

I can't remove the glass all the way without demolishing the shed again but I can sit it over the other one for a photo. It looked better with this red than the original. Should look amazing with them super flashers

I totally agree, hit pinside and ebay world wide fast and get some reward for your efforts while you can.

Hmm, well I think I had probably better grab one. Great to see some mods being made locally as opposed to everything coming from the US.
Just shoot me a PM Dan with the final costing once you have an idea about postage cost.
Can mine and Peter's be some sort of LE/prototype, specially numbered with the designers signature on the back. It seems everything these days has some sort of LE run. ;o)

Bloody local plastic shop isn't open Saturdays and closes before I get home I'm sending the wife on a mission Monday when she finishes work so fingers crossed she isn't as useless as I think she is lol.

Peter and I are just toying around with a few ideas to get the flasher right underneath the cut out in the cover to really make this mod pop. There are a few very easy and cheap options, just need to sort out which one will work best.

Good video and photo Pete I hope to have the next batch ready soon just waiting on the laser cutters at the moment have made some more clearance in the back as it seems not all machines are the same.

Cheers mate and to think I said I would never mod it and keep it original lol but it's a game I will never sell so I thought why not :-) it's set up really nice and plays as fast as the day I bought her home.

Mine arrived late Friday and was installed within 10 mins. Very cool and very easy to fit mod that finishes off that corner nicely.
The blue looks great in the BIBLE - thanks Dan !!

Its mirrored stainless I'd guess it could be powder coated ill spray up one of my seconds in wrinkle black and see how it looks

Finally got around to installing my "custom" BLACK band member mod over the weekend .

This mod nicely finishes off the corner of the game which looked cheap and unfinished before .
I played around with a few different globes in the flasher socket and the one that gave the best result was an Ablaze 9-led flasher in RED ( note I have the red ACDC insert - I'm not sure how the Ablaze would look with the blue ) .

Saw this mod in the flesh at Daniels and if I had an acdc its a must have mod I reckon. Without it is a little like pop bumpers without caps; that unfinished look.

went over to a AP members place yesterday to take photos of all the bell blocks and John had you mod installed - looks so much better in person - awesome mod Daniel.
It finishes off the corner so professional - one of those "why wasn't it there in the original design" mods ^^^

Thanks to Blair :-) here's Daniels band mod with two strips of LEDs underneath, the standard flasher for me wasn't bright enough lol now it pops.
Again great mod Dan it really does finish this area off nicely :-) ones on its way to the USA.
