Cool game. Not in the same league as Black Knight, but fun to play. Reminds me of Jungle Lord. I think if you had Pharaoh, Black Knight, Jungle Lord and Solar Fire you would be a very happy WMS 7 collector !

Not that I know of. I've known of three that made it over from Europe in the last 10 years. I think the theory is that Williams threw everything at Black Knight just before the video age took over. Then Williams did a similar job on Jungle Lord, but it tanked, and operators didn't buy it. Now that the pinball landscape had changed, Pharaoh didn't get the numbers . They tried another run of Black Knight in desperation and then finally Solar Fire had a small run. A shame, as Solar fire looks to be a better title than Black Knight and is sought after.

Strangely I can remember finding more Pharoah on location than Black Knights

It's a project that will take a while to get right, playfield is rough and needs a touch up but it's all there.
It's my first system 7 and I'm looking forward to getting another. Black knight will be next if I can find one that's not too bad and hasn't been dodged up too much, I like to keep original and not swap for rotten dog etc.
Well I'm happy to be here and look forward to helping and getting help from other pin heads  ^^^

Had a mate who had a Pharoah and must admit, I didn't mind the game play at all.. lots of upper level action to get a decent score. The amount of plastics in this game though always did concern me.. theres a lot of them, but in saying that, they seem to hold up well.
Nice game.. is this the one off Ebay? There were 2 up for grabs.. just like buses.. don't see one then along come 2!

I like WMS SS machines to work on.. first SS game I ever got going from dead was FLASH... bout time I got myself another WMS to fix up I reckon!

Yeah was an eBay find from a local guy moving interstate, he had a black night too but I missed that one by a few bucks. The poor bugger had a container full of pins that got eaten by termites he must have lost 20 to the little buggers :(  lost a beautiful pharaoh that was going to go into the restoration of the one got, so in the deal I got a full set of second plastics beautiful new side rails etc.

Finding it a joy to work with and I'm loving the fact my first not running project is a big part of pinball history.
Got new eproms coming and I've cleaned the CPU (no alkaline damage) so looking good for a run soonish I  hope

For some reason, a couple of operators in Sydney's George St. had about 7 Pharaohs each and I never saw a big crowd playing them. BKs were scattered with only one at each arcade.

There's an NOS Pharaoh playfield on Pinside at the moment for only $2500.
