Title: RTBB Parts Request Thread
Post by: Strangeways on June 02, 2016, 02:29:08 PM
RTBB has a number of distributorships covering several suppliers. More are in the process of being signed up.

There's a HUGE list of parts that we don't have in stock. There is an even BIGGER list of parts available to us, as distributors, that we have never listed on RTBB. It there are parts that members think we should carry - list them here. Pinscore, Super-Bands, Cliffy Innovations, CPR, Planetary, Pinball Inc, Ablaze, Starship-Fantasy Ramps.. The list goes on.

Even if it is a particular LED - We will look into it.

Not 100% sure but I think the Superbands are tough to get on a bat where Pinball Life's Perfect Play rubbers are nice.

The various colour post rubbers and transparent rubbers are cool

Comet's gear is great and with some of the special Matrix gear really allows so customization. On the other side Art is having some health issues so the business is up for sale.

No wonder you asked the question as I thought about it and it did my head in. So many products and affected by so many variables.
Wish list would be all the high cost and high freight cost products, in other words EVERYTHING!
Colour DMD would be top of my list along with ALL pinball resource parts.

I emailed Larry@Starship if the ‘Bride Of Pinbot’ helmet (BOP-HEL) will ever be available again.

He said he will do a re-run around December 2016.  #*#

Maybe you could snag some of those, before they sell out again instantly? Would go nice with your new BOP additions.

Will be ordering a set of those BOP PF plastics you now have  :D

Making notes as I go..

PBR - Yes - this is already in motion, as is a deal with Marco Spec. We already handle Pinscore through Marco and this is now expanded to other products - but we need more time.

Starship-Fantasy - RTBB is the Aussie Distributor, so if anything is released or remade - We automatically purchase. Just had large orders of CFTBL Ramp Sets and No Fear Ramp Sets. Fish Tales / Whitewater toppers arrived yesterday. There is a delay on restocking IJ, T2, TAF, Dr Who and others.

The others - Will look into.

Gav reckons there's a CV for $2000 - so there's a slight difference out there ()

When these got to the end of their run, Williams were selling them *new* for not much more than that as a run out!

Pinball Life have a good range of playfield inserts that might be of benefit to have a range for home brew games as well as dmd era playfield restorations - downside is most of the inserts are clear.

Cabinet Stencils

Yes - as long as the supplier has them in stock and the distributor (Marco) has them available. According to the Marco Website - they have them in stock. We can order if you are willing to wait 1-2 months. We don't stock displays that don't sell. This is the first request for this display.

Not glass. "G James" in Cambellfield or Thomastown can supply or cut the correct glass.

Yep. I would get toughened. Although i have got perspex and it works well. No chance of shattering!

It would take years to even have 1/10th of their inventory. Our Gottlieb parts are from PBR - we only buy genuine parts. Steve and Jimmy do point customers to RTBB frequently.

Just a bit of an update ;

Playfield glass and translite glass - Go to G James - they supply the industry and it is best to go direct.

Pinscore - We have a major order we are putting together. If there's anything needed - now is the time to ask !

PBR - We have been stocking a lot more Gottlieb parts.

LEDs supplier - Working on an interesting distributorship.

Marco specific items such as Bally coin doors - coming soon !

CPR - we won't be stocking playfields in the near future. You still need to go direct for playfields. Backglasses and Plastic sets are held up by the TAF playfields. Our order is due here next week.

Does anybody in Oz offer a product similar to Romans/PDI Glass?
