This game should really have gone into storage but I couldn't help myself it's fairly small and will require far less space than the coon hunt target section so I'll do this first and wait for the warmer weather for coon hunt.
I was away in Bali when I received a message from Tony. (Illawarra Steelers) " Hey mate are you interested in this game?"
Never seen anything like it but it looked like it would fit in here so I quickly said yes.
Tony wouldn't take any money for it what a guy and also had prowler dropping off a game so we organised John to collect this at the same time worked out really well.

After asking around I was given a rough name wasn't right but was close enough for a direction and he also suggested I ask the guys at the penny machines forum and sure enough the wise old chaps had some info for me.
First photos I got where of this machine at a penny arcade

Next popped up one that one of them had restored and also a discussion of roughly when it was built. None of them know for sure but using the names on the map they came to the conclusion it's after the war but still fairly old due to the number of stops required to get from London to New York very clever and helpful bunch of blokes

Then another guy showed these photos

From these photos I think that the red one is most likely the original artwork if you look closely the guy
Flying the plane has his hand out and it's sitting right below the coin return cup. Also looking closely at this one red looks to be the original base Color I'm going to gently try remove the repainted colors and hopefully reveal the man or even just signs there was the man there (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160728/bd36e1d496bbb6f3fa7e541fc280d00b.jpg)

First battle wast to remove the back panel to see what I was up against. Flat head counter sunk bolts with 50+ years of rust paint and abuse. Managed to get the surround of from around the Playfield which allowed me to see a couple of the bolts on both sides so I attacker the ones I could see with wd40 then pumped a head in and let gravity do its thing hoping it flowed over the lower bolts. After chiseling out the old paint and hammering the screwdriver into the old slots I managed to get the top cover off and half the lower bolts what was left was attacked with the impact screw driver.
Once open I found plenty of treasure ok most of it was junk but always intense eating to see what's been lost in a machine, Heaps of Playfield posts some lane guides a power point a bingo Spring plenty of beer cap and a train ticket from 2004

The highlight for me was the 1952 penny that was stuck between the frame and the front panel. I had actually played it with a few penny's so wasn't 100% sure if it had just fallen there from my couple of games but to me looking at the surrounding rust I think it had been there for a while what do you guys think

At this stage probably not I've over spent on some bowling pins for my ten strike so I won't be taking anything to the chrome platers till that blows over. For now it's going to get a coat of red and reassembled until I can redo the cabinet properly it really needs to have the skin removed to repair the dints properly

Slow progress on this one bugger all free time for my stuff lately. Stripped and painted the inner surround. Then original colour was this cream Colour absolutely hated it when I first put it in the game
