Hi guys,
I've noticed some errors being generated when some of you are attaching images to posts. This was caused by the attachment folder only being setup to have max 10Mb of images. I've now bumped that up to 100Mb.
Where possible, could you possibly link to an external source for your images? If you can't, that's cool also.
Cheers
Tony

That's not a problem for those of us who have hosting, but I'm sure that many members here do not have that... 100Mb will be filled VERY quickly.
Just my 2c

Yeah I realise that. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Maybe we can investigate buying some more disk space from the hosting company.

At least you have a size limit on the uploaded pics, but from the way this forum is going, I can see you going past 100Mb in the next 6 months...
Can only be a good thing though #*#

I have now allocated 10Gb for attachments - up from 100Mb.
Also, you may notice when viewing attachments in a post that they will appear as normal size now instead of thumbnails that you need to click on to enlarge.

So hopefully this will encourage plenty of pictures to be submitted !
Other than that - Pictures can be uploaded to your ISP - using an FTP client to your webspace.
Either way is fine #*#

Yes, plenty of pics is what we want!

Is it possible to embed youtube videos in posts??
-
Aha, I was waiting for that one...
Let me see what I can find as an add-on to the forum software.

What do you know?
We're not going to take it!
The YouTube button is on the far left as you reply to/create posts. Enjoy!

Gotta love those early 80's video clips!

Ah yes.. Brings back the memories... I have an 80's night coming uo this weekend. I bought my "headbanger's" wig and if I have to listen to Cindi Lauper, Wham and Duran Duran all night, then I'll have to do a "Dee Snyder"...

Was in HMV the other day and they were playing "never gonna give you up" by Rick Astley.
God it was painful!!!!! Took me back to my apprenticeship days.
Hoped that song had been lost over the last 20 years - like a nightmare flashback it was.
oh the horror
