Title: What's worse than being attacked by a European Wasp?
Post by: pinball god on February 17, 2010, 10:06:35 PM
BEING ATTACKED BY FIVE European Wasps. Mate, no one told me these shitters go for the kill. I was running around my yard screaming like a GIRL and those guys kept on chasing me and getting a sting or three here and there  !@). NOT happy Jan  ^.^ Had to stop cleaning up the yard and play pinnies for the rest of the week end (Doctor's orders  %$%)

Were the bastards nesting in your yard, or did you buy a container pin  %.%

Sounds like a VERY uncomfortable situation - even "Gods" can get attacked these days..  @@^

I knew I shouldn't have rested on that Seventh day. I should have invented FLY SPRAY and killed all the wasps!!!

AAAh - been stung MANY times! Just apply vinegar straight away and it neutralises the sting - then go burn the damn nest

I hate those damned things. I had to look them up to find out what they were, and they are what we call yellowjackets here in the states. I get nests of them around my place and they make it a royal pain to do anything during the summer!

I think some might be living in our eaves over our garage, but they die off every winter due to the cold. Guess I could seal it up real well :)

When i put alarm systems in, almost every few days i come accross a wasp nest in QLD.

I once told an owner that there was a big nest of about fifty good size wasps around his old siren box.
I said i wanted a can of fly spray and a cigarette lighter to make a flame thrower and  kill them all. He said, nahh, i will just knock them off, let them fly off.

I warned him repeatedly, they would attack him big time. He would not listen.

THERES NOTHING FUNNIER THAN WATCHING A GROWN MAN RUNNING AROUND IN CIRCLES SCREAMING AND SWATTING THE AIR TO NO AVAIL.  %.%  %.%  %.%

he should have listened. he went and got the flame thrower i wanted real quick after the buggers stung him 20 times.  ^^^ ^^^ ^^^
