Title: DIY Wedgehead BB
Post by: oldpins on July 11, 2010, 12:16:44 PM
An AP member is keen on building his own wedehead backbox. Though I would share the same info for any other EM restorers.

That's a great effort - well done.

Are you doing the same for the body ?

The "Pro football" cabinet was in good condition, however I have made a cabinet for a "Card Whiz". The original was beyond repair and I have kept drawing for reference if I need to build another.(These cabinets are 50 mm deeper than other 60's & 70's machine cabinets). A cabinet maker cut the 4 sides only and I purchased a small router which was great for all the intregate work e.g. hold down bar mechanism. The only problem I have is the PVC strip which the glass slides into, not sure what to use at this stage. Can anyone tell me if this is still available or have any other ideas !@#
