Hi Everyone,
those of you familiar with my story on this board would know that while my collection isnt HUGE, most of it has come to me for free or at extreme bargain prices. SO soon after my last post on the Black Knight I picked up for free, I almost didnt post this cos it seemed too good to be true. In all honesty, the story goes like this:
My dauhgter walked home from school a different way than usual yesterday, as she was picking something up from a friend. when she got home, she said; "Dad, I walked past a house that had two pinball machines in the front yard". I leapt up and bolted for the door before I realised I had no idea where this place was (pinball does this to you %.%); anyway I setteld down and she explained to me where the place was. I went around there and the guy was taking them down to the dump so he said I was doing him a favour taking them away. I now own a Gottlieb 1975 "Soccer" and a Gottlieb 1975 "Abra-ca-Dabra". The Mechanics are all in pretty good nick, however, the playfields have been badly weathered. SOCCER has an Imaculate condition back glass. The other machine does not have one. Here are the Pictures:

Amazing.. I don't think I've ever scored a free pinnie, actually, the more I think about it, I'm positive that I've never scored a free pinnie. ^.^
Saw one on the side of the road in Ebor many years back, did the right thing and made a couple of enquiries around the two or 3 shops (including post office, pub and servo) that exist in Ebor. Found the owner, who tells me he wants a couple of hunge for it. Keep it I say. Don't rember the title, but I recall it was Spanish and its was rotten to the core.

wow that some NASTY wear on those playfields, especially the abracadabra, but well done getting two more freebies #*#
Abracadabra is a great game... i just sold mine a few weeks ago to pay for removals expenses @.@ but i will be replacing it soon with another one *%*

Sweet. I don't have the full details but someone must have thrown out a working Batman Forever here in Canberra sometime over the past year, got a text from a friend that one was in the tip's 'recycle' shop but I didn't go and have a look because I assumed that if it was tossed, it wouldn't be in the greatest condition... had someone ask after it when they were out there recently... apparently it sold for something like $3k! Never know what'll turn up....

I had a look at this one, it was in pretty good condition. One of the staff members told me that it was 'donated' with the caveat that whatever they got for it went to charity.
