Played the machine at the roller bowl in warrnambool.. Second game ball got stuck and i tilted it. No help coming so i walked away. Very dirty. Also they have a starwars machine new style with the video screen at the top. Not a big fan of it.

Stern- X-Men Pro, some times when Magnito ball is locked the machine would think the ball was lost and take a minute to reset. I found a few credits on this machine when I went to play and I'm assuming it was because of this fault people had just walked away mid game.
Bally- World Cup Soccer, Peter you will be happy to know your old machine has finally be fixed and plays quite nicely.
Note: None of the machines have been levelled very well and I'm sure all would play better and faster if they were set up properly to begin with. All machines were nice and clean though.

Went camping down in the Wye River area of Victoria recently (late Feb 2013) and found the following pins:
- Wye River Big4 campsite has a games room with an Addams Family. $1/play. Flippers not lined up correctly and wire lane guides on the left inlane are pushed down to playfield level. This means a lot of balls drain down the left side
- Wye River Hotel has a Lord of the Rings. $1/play. I wouldn't bother. Many issues, plunger almost too weak to get the ball into play, no sound.
- Apollo Bay has an arcade on the main street. Two pinball machines: Stern Monopoly and Stern Grand Prix. Both good condition. $1 per play.

Also found a classic Stern Nugent in the Empress hotel in North Fitzroy in Melbourne. $1 per play. Tired and worn but you can have an OK game. Don't believe the replay scores on the instruction cards though, the machine doesn't give credits for those scores.

$1 for five balls on both games and both played OK, though Getaway seemed to lack some 'punch'.
Still enjoyed playing both and first time on Getaway was good fun. :D

I went had a few games of both today
- Space Jam played alright but alot of the GI and insert lighting blown and was quite dirty
- Flintstones played pretty good, with full led's and chrome trim so looked very nice
I had to have a laugh, as this laundromat must have had pins sited there for years as it now has anti death save floor supports - nah just the tiles are worn through and concrete underneath a little worn as well.

Ball shooter crappy (probably some young kid hanging off it). Flippers are strong but sometimes sticky. Playfield, cabinet and game in good nick.
Took the young ones to Tik Tocs and surprised to find only 1 pinnie in the whole place. Many young kids there did not understand pinball I am sorry to say but nevertheless, I had a great time.
First time I played IM and I am impressed. Great game and brilliant layout. I ended up playing about a dozen games out of $3.

very nice looking machine, hammer lock wasn't working during game play except when you hit the ramps multiple times the hammer would just slam down for no reason !@# !@# !@#
the cross would go up and down at the game end and start, but during game play - hit it multiple times and would not rise even after getting the multiball.

very nice looking machine, hammer lock wasn't working during game play except when you hit the ramps multiple times the hammer would just slam down for no reason !@# !@# !@#
the cross would go up and down at the game end and start, but during game play - hit it multiple times and would not rise even after getting the multiball.

TAF and RS at Bowlarama Wetherill Park.
These 2 are playable but the flippers on TAF are weak as p**s.
The cabinets, mechanics and playfeld on both are fair. These 2 would make great restore projects.

Went to Sydney for a few days and went to the Steyne Hotel and they still have the MM as well as a Spiderman, MM played pretty good though flippers felt a little weak, and the Spiderman was so slow - thinking the level was low.

Stopped in at the Old Canberra inn @ Lyneham ACT for a beer and there was a gorgeous, lovely TOTAN. Played beaut, looked a treat, LED's.
Next to it was a No Good Gofers. Nice condition, played OK but had some fluttering from some coil somewhere. Display was in French but heck $2 for 5 credits was OK by me (yes something faulty with coin acceptor). Both owned and operated by Capital Pinball.

played the godzilla today myself, interesting game, didn't mind it but not sure if some GI was out in the back or too many green globes used with the green ramps that it felt a little dark. Enjoyed it, and felt a very solid feel game, very clean and blinged up - nice

I'm always disappointed when I go on a pinball crusade when we're on holidays and deviate from our course. I'll rock up to the location and the machine I wanted to play is long gone (current reference: Budgewoi).

The Burvale hotel in Nunawading has an Avengers as new condition, although played 2 games and the became stuck under the hulks left arm twice and the machine went into ball search. 13/1/2014.

Went to see at mate at his work and popped into timezone at Forrest Hill Chase. victoria.
Both machines look good, just some playfield grime from the black rubbers......Why Stern Why?
The Transformers is a Deceptacons LE numbered in the 60's-80's(cant remember exactly) of 125. Play field is so dark with the purple and the shadows/black on it.
Startrek looks great. Going back to play them soon.

Mooseheads in Canberra Civic has a Mustang, everything seemed right except the buttons were all sticky from what I would say is drink spill. Left flipper button kept getting stuck.

Can you please update The Entrance NSW - they have an AC/DC premium machine niw gracing the entrance (pun intended) - & I didn't see fun-house so maybe they've swapped it out - but don't quote me on that one.

Mooseheads in Canberra Civic has a Mustang, everything seemed right except the buttons were all sticky from what I would say is drink spill. Left flipper button kept getting stuck.
Played this today, left flipper button us sticky. In multiball i would occasionally get a ball stuck behind the ramp.
Got a good score left it with credits still on it

Up at Hamilton Island to recharge and found ACDC and Transformers Pro.
Both easy and good to play. Put in $2 in each for 3 ball game and ended up playing for about 1 hour after popping several more games. Wife had to drag me out.

A Lord of the Rings at the resort bowling alley. Did not play but it looked in decent nick.
The Golf Club has a Stern Grand Prix. First time I played this title and I found it fast and fun. Machine looks great for age and had new rubbers and great flippers. The third pop was a bit lazy but that did not matter as the ball hardly ever goes there.
I managed to play over an hour on two bucks while the kids burned 49 bucks on video games. I think I had heaps more fun on a tighter budget, try telling that to the young ones.
Not sure about the Stern quality bashers, but this 9 year old pin has stood the test of time well.

One lonely Fish Tails on free play located in a new burger joint. Church st Parramatta near the Town Hall. They also got a arcade machine running MAME on free play. The burgers? Didn't try them.
