Drop the ball in the Gobble hole awards 1 to 3 Replays depending on how many Special lights are lit.
When all cards are lit, the Purple special light between the flippers will light up then any card
rollover will award a Replay till the game ends.

RATING

One of the classic 60's card themed machines, was a very popular machine because of the chance of
racking up plenty of replays.

Once the ball is in the lower part of the playfield it can be quite difficult to get the ball back
up past the gobble hole to the 5 pop bumpers.

Will always remain in my collection.

I have a SweetHearts and love it. I find the gameplay a little bit slow but what a princess of a machine.

I find the gobblehole a bit annoying as you lose the ball, but it gives 100 points.

I would never part with this machine as it sums up what pinball should be, good game, simple fun and good looking but with a challenge to win the free game.

I have one of these. Great machine to play and mine too will have an overhaul this year. I've got a new backglass to fit to it too as the red colours on the cards have really faded. Last Gottlieb made with a gobble hole too, if I remember correctly.

I had a Sweethearts for 20 years. Great game, great art. … The game works best when the pop bumpers and flippers are both working really well.
This game has the fantastic feature “All Rollovers Special When Lit”, and when it’s lit, you can get replay after replay.
IMO this game was the first in what I consider to be one of Gottlieb’s greatest periods ..
from 1963-1966 they produced many single player games which are just superb. Sweethearts is right up there. It is simply one of the best wedgeheads ever made. It’s a star.
