Title: Pinball Rivets
Post by: Crashramp on May 11, 2012, 04:40:49 PM
I don't know if this has been posted before but I've found the info here very handy regarding techniques  and materials for re-riveting play field plastics and the like.

LOl- just done some rivets, to replace i ended up using a concrete step with some paper acting as a buffer, an extension from a socket set and a hammer.
Not sure ill be posting my technique on a " How to"  blog somehow

You can get a pinbits kit which suffices for attaching plastics/flasher dome bases etc
http://www.pinbits.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=72&zenid=u37im7k16vuhg1tthnk54q76j2

But I use one of these for ramps since it can apply more pressure to the rivet and thus get better grip strength than the pinbits kit.
