I tell ya, i feared for my feet.
The machine felt so loose and it was impossible to get away with the tilt not going off.

There would have been a contact number on the machine for the operator, did you try calling him?

I always call them now when i see an issue and every single time they are extremely grateful that someone called them. Dont rely on the pub/location to call as i have discovered they hardly ever do.  !@#

I'm pretty sure there wasn't one. Anyway, no doubt it belongs to a member here.

That's an example of why the operators of today have such a bad rep. When I see this sort of crap, I switch the game off and pull the plug. That's the ONLY way operators will fix games - if they are not making money !

It shits you doesn't it. I put $2 in a Scared Stiff at timezone the other week and could barly get the ball out of the shooter lane. The flippers were also rooted, basically no strength left in them and the rubbers had been rotated to within an inch of there life and barely hanging onto the flippers.

There was a heap of other issues as well but the worse thing is kids come along and get there money ripped of them and they walk away thinking jeez I'll stick to the other arcade machines, pinball is shit!

I told the staff (themselves just kids) about the problems with this particular machine and the response was that that's how this machine always is but they'll let someone know. *!@

I played the MM at the burvale Friday.  The legs are now at nearly 45 degrees.  I asked the staff who owned it and the only bloke who could answer said he thought it was Zaks.  There was no phone number.  One more kick to those legs and it will hit the ground.

It's such a shame to see a great title like this presented this way to future pinball players. The game needs to be saved.

This is old and not actually mine (but a friend's) but from the looks and sounds of it, definitely worthy of this thread. I'll leave it to the dude who posted it:

7 of the best machines ever built and only T3 remotely in playable condition. Mostly with cactus canyon. To see one in the wild in such poor condition makes me weep. And a back in black LE AC/DC so dirty you can't see the lower playfield? Hang your head in shame Sonix Chirnside Park. Cactus Canyon, Guns n Roses, AC/DC LE, Attack from Mars, No Good Gofers, Theatre of Magic and Terminator 3. Some of the worst maintained machines I've ever seen.
I didn't even know any CC's made it into AU. So not only is there at least one here, but it's in appalling condition :/

That was about a month or two ago. Shame.

That sucks. I have been sent to Canberra for work quite a bit and they are getting some good new games to play. KISS was on my radar to play over there in the new year. Hope they fix it before my next trip.

Does anyone know where the Walking Dead went to that was sited in Civic? The pub (Transit Bar) now has Iron Man in its place.

Cheers!
Adam.

I went to the local Timezone a while back to play Star Trek. Upper right flipper was sticking and made for a crappy experience. The other games was a Metalica Pro  (cut down model). Could not even make ramp shots.  Every time I have been there to check out the latest Stern, flippers have been rooted *every * time. I'm sure they hold up ok in home environment but not so much in a commercial environment.
