This is a like to Christopher Hutchins website over in the U.S.A
http://www.highendpins.com/about_us.htm
I would recommend anyone to have a look through his gallery of work. It is simply amazing. Certainly sets the bar pretty high for restorations! - espically the E.K. The attention to detail is unbeliveable.

He is "The Master", and all restorers know about his work. Hi techniques and attention for detail are astounding, and I would LOVE to see a machine he has done "in the flesh". No doubt that the machines he does are better than what they were pushing out of the factory.

His work is legendary! I know we have some great restorers here, but it would be fantastic to have someone doing it at the professional level so that lazy-asses like me could save the pennies to have games done to his sort of standards.

Only an hour? I was stuck for over 6 yesterday!
I must say, from the ones I've read thus far the E.K takes the cake, but the decal work on the BK2000 was breath taking....

I had to leave ... I am at home and spend enough time on here as it is
the wife will beat me more ...... that could be fun

The market is already there in the USA as are the volume of machines. The demand for restoration work in Australia is starting to pick up, but you need to be a "jack of all trades" to be able to offer anything CLOSE to what CH does. If it was to happen in Australia - the demand would have to pick up, and it could only be feasible if efforts were combined from guys on this site - which would increase prices.
It is a "pipedream" that I have had for a while, but it would be bloody hard to emulate 75% of what the CH service provides. Sets a VERY high bar for others to follow - yet it is inspiring enough to attempt.
Thinking back 5 years ago - not many guys in Australia were doing the quality that we are seeing today. So they ARE out there, hopefully sites like AP will "bring them out of the woodwork"... and relocate them to Melbourne

I think you're right Nino, as I mentioned, we have the best in pinball restorers here already, so if it starts anywhere, it'll be out of here.

Absolutely awesome work!
