Title: Big Bang Bar Playfield Refinish
Post by: pinnies4me on August 23, 2012, 08:16:28 PM: I was lucky enough to secure a spare playfield a few years ago, and intended to keep it so when the game is eventually sold (speak to the executor of my estate!!:) it could be offered with a brand new un-played field as well as new ramps and plastics which I also have.

The clear, while a good "factory" level job, is not perfect. This was more noticeable on the bare field than the one in the game. So I decided to give it to Tim to clear to his standard.

Bloody awesome!!

nows the time to get a spare play field, AMD imported a IM playfield for me for $550, which I will eventually send to Tim for some upgraded finishing.

I thought the same Damien but the clear playfield window cannot be removed. Makes it hard

Not sure to be honest Damien if it was in before or after clearing. Inserts are small and generally not a clear window. I believe clearing over the top would make it very difficult to see through. But not sure I anyone has done one yet anywhere..

Anyway maybe another topic as I would be interested to find out...

Great work Tim on a very rare playfield and Nick it looks fantastic ^^^
