Like the star posts.. I don't know why just don't like the Flynn lit up sign. Just doesn't do it for me. You can now buy pre made light cycle kits from a guy on pinside as well

here is another cool Tron mod, remove the black rubber discs from the spinner and install the clear kit, gives better lighting effect and hopefully reduces the black bits of rubber on the playfield.

OK finally getting around to doing the light cycles, bought the hallmark ones off ebay for around US$15 each (plus shipping which sadly doubles the price)..

Blue cycle arrived still waiting on yellow (clu) to arrive.. Can pull the top off pretty easy to access switch which I will just remove and solder the wires so it is always on with the pin once I remove the batteries and solder in wires to 5v power source in pin..

Will post pic up once installed... but seen plenty online and they look good for a $30 mod (per cycle) plus some wire...

Ive recently been modding my TRON legacy 1st ed. Just added the pinbits eli ramp lighting kit. Awesome how it changes colour and interacts with the game. Took about a day to remove ramps, drill holes and all the rest.

Ive also added mirrors, Flynn sign, scoop flasher mod, leds, aluminium flippers, blue start button, undercab lighting. have light cycles on the way from kimballs pinballs and 3rd version of the mini arcade mod.

One of these next to a Tron pinball would be cool.

just tweaking this one if anyone is interested - Tron shooter knob and then colour the engraved sections with gloss blue paint.

a couple of US guys requested a identity disc version so here it is for anyone interested. Painting is easy, simple brush in the colour of your choice and then put some white spirits or thinners on a rag and the wrap the rag around a sanding disc and wipe across the top of the plunger knob and the paint remains neatly in the patterns and then clean every where else.

you could print in the polished grey steel and then paint a light aqua blue in the grooves to get that classic similar look.
