Bunch of my younger mates that I play poker with every now and again on friday nights are Facebook mad,one of them said he can't live without it.
They are constantly and I mean constantly toying with  smart phones( the dumb phones must really feel left out...they need a support group) updating status or whatever it is they do. I have even seen them do it on the golf course. WTF is all that about!

I hate it when they are doing their updates under the table, like no-one can see what's going on. I always ask what's wrong with what they are doing that they need to hide it under the table? Then insist they do it above the table. Usually get a response that doing it where people can see them at the table would be rude!! Figure that one out!

The guys I know do it right in front of you without a care in the world,they will hold up a poker game, a tee shot or a shout to do the facebook biz or take or make a phonecall to talk absolute shite that can wait til later on easily. I keep asking them to leave the phones on silent when we are playing golf but it never happens and normally interupts the round at least a few times.
